We can cut beams from logs as S4S (surfaced four sides) or
B1S (bark one side) or B2S (bark two sides). Our most popular beams are B1S
and B2S. For instance, if you were looking up at your vaulted ceiling beam,
you would be looking up at a natural edge of the log but in a dimensional S3S
beam (surfaced three sides). On a truss, you could have B1S on your bottom beam,
a B1S on your roof line, and B2S on your webbing. Check out the pictures of
